As simple as that. If you walk out knowing that you'll most likely be laid off before the end of the year you are saving the company money and doing them a huge favor. Every severance saved means more bonus money for those on top. I have no intention of doing their dirty work for them. They want me out? They better pay me for it and I'll be happy to leave.

Obviously, it's speculation.
Plenty of people wishing and hoping they will be sevranced and released from their indenturedment to Mondelez.
Some of us want our shackles off, our souls back, and want to be able to have some energy left to enjoy our lives with our family's.
