Does she know AK is not being truthful about what went down with audiobooks? Did AK even share with her the internal report with facts and statistics, or did he just repeat the lies from the vendor he hand picked? Is he intentionally lieing, or is his ego so huge he just cannot admit it to himself? The ship is sinking, it is too late to salvage. There is no chance of this vendor completing half the summer goals; everyone is afraid to state the truth without a job offer in hand.

The only logical explanation is that they want as many develooers to quit as possible to avoid paying severance.
