How do you view the company reducing the number of traditional retailers that sell its goods? There are always pros and cons.

How about all that money into Valiant, so HJ can do another recycling project. Talk about a one trick pony embarrassing. And she rode out the Virus on a beach in Europe, she was stuck there.
For a fashion-first company like Nike it is the beginning of the end.
Nike's customers have always wanted to see and touch new products. Sure there's the few products that have been around forever and a new color or tweak is put on them and they sell in a flash on "sneakers" app. (BTW, just check around and you'll see how much people HATE that method of selling).
But new, innovative product? There's limited interest. So as long as Nike sells old product in new colors they'll be ok. But taking new product out of the stores - not the right move.
By Fall 2022 there will need to be another major shift in GTM "strategy" or Nike will be the next New Balance.
