Nothing motivates me to work here anymore. I try to find motivation, but in vain, it is zero. I notice that I am not the only one, the situation is getting worse every day and a lot of people are leaving.
I don't know how this company will be able to give people the motivation they need to stay for a while longer. The only thing I can concentrate on right now is looking for a new job.
Its hard to care qhen you see how the senior managers don't care.
The only motivation to work is paying rent and putting food on the table. Just look for another job with similar pay. If you are a manager with car privilege, find a job that pays slightly more. A decent Car will only set you back about $500 a month which is $6k a year with gas and insurance. Don't let them fool you by saying the car is worth so much more... Plenty of hiring companies out there, and network with old coworkers that have left. They can help you get a foot in the door
I spent 4 long months looking for another job, but I finally did and you can too. I attempted to live through all the changes of Hertz for 8 years. It just wore me down to the point that I started to believe Hertz was the only place good enough for me, (thanks old boss). I have never been in jail, but I now know the feeling of getting out of it.
The Hertz way of motivation is to bully and threaten you. Put you on a PIP, tell you how replaceable your are, call you out in front of your peers. That is the hertz way.
