Thread regarding SS&C Technologies layoffs

Very disappointed

After 15 years I’ve been laid off from the company and it’s not enough to say I’m just disappointed. I am more than disappointed. I had much better offers at the time, but back then they did everything to keep me. What a mistake, because I could have had a much better career. For my loyalty I was rewarded with a layoff. I hope that my mistake will be a lesson for others that dedicated work and loyalty mean nothing to them and that they should look for better jobs for themselves as soon as possible.

Did you get a layoff package because S customer service reps they just fire you know benefit package

Sorry to hear this, however take a look around - new managers coming in - new leadership - do you think they even really know you? Do they know what you did 1,5,10+ years ago? Do they themselves value loyalty as you do?

No idea what the leadership values even are for SSC, let alone DST. Beyond “revenue” and “stock price” there doesn’t really seem to be any moral compass to the place.
