Return to the Office in May?

Got the email last week like everyone else did. I just read that Governor Kate Brown is moving counties back into " High Risk" again which means working remotely for a " 4th wave of Covid" I know Multnomah got elevated again, just a matter of time before it hits Washington County. Then you throw the whole Hoffman construction fiasco putting Liens on the newly constructed buildings ha ha. What a mess.

I suspect we'll continue to work remotely if you're presence isn't really required at the office anyways? I think HR has no idea what to do. Nike is lagging behind other companies by not creating a remote option or other options to continue working from home. They want everyone back to office for " retention".

Y’all gonna get laid off. That’s the May update.

Reading is fundamental OP. Not sure where you got the idea that anyone is going back to the office in May.

My best guess is that we’ll return to the office a couple days per week sometime around late Summer or early Fall. Come July everyone who wants to be vaccinated will be and COVID will quickly start becoming a distant memory. This will happen quicker than most people think.

I hope we don’t have to go back to the office before September. I’d hate to ruin a perfectly good Summer.

Read the email again. It did not state that we are expected back on Campus in May. It stated that an update for return to Campus will be provided prior to the end of May. I do not see us going back to the office this year at all.
