Doubtful...very doubtful. The new ERA of class 1s will be sub-contract for heavy repair, multi-roles for conductors and mechanical and main line only. Yards will be gone.
This was the grand plan for all class 1s all along with PSR. COVID helped speed it up a bit. Hunter Harrison just sold stock too Biggie & Tupac while on vacation in Cuba on Castros private island.
