Hearing 4 people let go last Friday 4/9, anyone know how big this action is? My manager seemed genuinely surprised in this morning's meeting, but it's hard to tell with these conference calls.

Probably a decent looking, 30 year old, bearded, bead sweating recruiting manager that would love to match your qualifications to a portfolio of open positions that he has been trying to fill for a while; because he cannot find enough qualified applicants with the right stuff or work ethic. Take two weeks off, get some rest, get your head together, and put yourself back out there. You can do it!!!

I was rif’d today after 37 years. My field support function is being outsourced.... 26 weeks of severance. I still need to work and not old enough or rich enough to retire.
