It failed because DXC is a sales and operations company. It is not an innovation or product development company. Any meager attempt to invent or transform anything will fail. The leadership, staff and culture is a mismatch for anything that creates new solutions.
The Digital Tranformation Center is a oxymoron, If were really a digital company there is no reason for a physical DTC. But can't get that though the so called brains of upper manangement

The why is easy to answer.
The Digital Tranformation Center move processes and manual steps within a digital frame work to more automated, AI supported, way of processing data. DXC's digitalisation platform was named Bionix, Platform DXC, Platform X, ... , and was never functional, only slide ware.
No Account Executive, Delivery Lead, Sales Rep with some sense for reality is selling this to the customer.
And that's the end of a DTC. Low revenue, but cost – no suceess, but c––p.
