The workforce can almost not even bear to listen to management anymore. Meetings from management doing more harm than good. Maybe it is better if they say nothing at this point. Every time they speak it just makes my blood boil listening to them.

No. That's not happening.
Hearing the salary freeze is ending for the execs but not those CL20-29. Any confirmation of this being true/false? Sure hurts to think about with what we’ve been through.
Being in HR I can attest to our managment looking at this board as they keep referencing some of these topics in some of the meetings shaming people who use this anonymous forum to vent because XOM wouldnt allow such anonymity inside. Funny ha! They know peoples sentiments by frequenting the site here, and even then it is business as usual for them.
You can bet that management (all the way up) are monitoring the comments on this site. No, they don't like what they see, but it's like a car accident on the highway; you simply can't resist looking as you roll by.

what does this have to do with turtles?
Remember they will continue to do just that because that's all they get paid for. I challenge each manager and higher level managment to spend just 1 day doing real technical work that actually makes money for the company and shareholders and I bet you each of them will turn out to be a PIP ready themselves!.
