Doubtful it came from management. Likely someone joined slido from personal phone and used (spoofed) manager name as SSO doesn’t work from phone. Would be funny to see people thanking this manager for posting only to be told it wasn’t me by manager and then be put on PIP list. I doubt any manager within this company would post that even if they think it they played the game to get where they are.

@cit+1anQVc8v I saw on LI a (yet another) GBC employee announced their resignation shortly after the forum. I doubt the forum itself was the reason, but it happened on the same day.

To paraphrase, it was “Last year the performance cuts, followed by involuntary destroyed morale and trust- why is the company pushing another 8% NSI, on top of no raises/promotions. What am I supposed to say in order to try and regain any semblance of trust from my team?”

I told y’all to not hold your breath. It’s going to be 70% generic leadership slides, 30% slido answers with “we’re looking into it” type answers.

I wish the LT had a Kanban board so I can see how much they actually deliver vs starting then stopping.

Oh, the increasing interest rates might help. Employees are tired of hearing the BS, feeling less valued, and being disrespected. The once top notch professional environment has turned into a pit bull cage fight and it’s not worth it. STOP sending jobs overseas or we will be a third world country. STOP bringing in those useless expats and feeding them the lifestyles they couldn’t otherwise afford. These are the Executives and managers that are creating a sinking ship. DW is just turned on by those accents and buys into the BS. Zip those pants and grow a pair.

No one is going to leave just because of the GSC Forum. But, no one is going to be inspired to stay either. The effort felt awkward, and they certainly didn't inspire my confidence that they'd listen, especially with the way that the live questions got handled, especially that the top voted question got deleted, especially since it was from one of the rising stars in the UIT leadership.
