Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Attracting talented, good people

This company is no longer a place that attracts talented, skilled and dedicated people, but very average ones who are least interested in their work. Such people think they are something special just because they work at Oracle.
I don’t know what happened so the company has meanwhile ceased to be a place of enthusiasm, new ideas and turned into a toxic workplace where people are mostly engaged in sabotaging others.
Has Oracle become so uninteresting to good and talented people?

If you want to see how to attract talented people, just look around. Google or Amazon can provide a model. All Oracle has to do is deliver! Deliver product. Deliver opportunities, and deliver raises.

That will never happen!

I like to keep my friends so I don't recommend Oracle when they're looking for jobs.

Yeah, they tried to get me to come back. No way! I'm not working in the s–t-h–e again.
