Anyone else in the branches getting a ton of pressure to return to the office? We have had 4 meetings this week about returning and management keeps saying "it's voluntary". Anyone else in the branches feeling like the branch managers are pressuring them to go back ASAP and get the vaccine? They may not be able to say they are holding it against you for not filing out the survey to go back, but they are 100% holding it against you in the back of their mind. Thoughts?

I going to Belize not Caymans. With your attitude you will be going to Padre. Try to look at life as an opportunity and you too can enjoy a Caribbean vacation or new Tesla.
The branches are going to get CRUSHED with all the walk-in service appointments that clients couldn't do over the last 14 months. Inheritor-services and complex re-reg city. VP/FCs had better prepare for their RMs and PCs to be largely unavailable for weeks if not months... they will all be at the counter or with walk-ins, all day, every day.
If managers were smart, they would be staffing up on FRs and RMs, getting them trained to deal with this tsunami, and setting proper expectations with VP/FCs (who may actually have to step in and help at the front). But you can be sure that BOMs and SBOMs are not preparing for this; they are too busy planning their Caymans vacations and shopping for Teslas online.
Does anyone feel safe especially front counter workers?
I'm hearing late summer/early fall for possible return to office and that it won't be 100% hybrid or 100% in office, I think they are still trying to figure it out to be quite honest.
Latest update to going back is that you have to get tested one time per week, no thanks!
if your fully vaccinated, why wouldn't you go back?
My next trip into the office will be for an exit interview and to turn in my laptop and ID
Of course managers want to get staff back in the branches. When the branches do open, there's going to be an unbelievable overhang of walk-in service appointments, and FRs and RMs will have to take those, even though "the pods have outsourced all the service out of the branches". LOL
I would participate, but they want 3-4 days per week, which is more than I am willing, right now. So, I’m waiting.
Because it’s time to go back to work. Get the vaccine and go earn your salary.
No such thing is "Voluntary" at Fidelity. You are being volun-told.
I think they are feeling it out and want to see how the courts handle mandatory vaccine requirements. I suspect that they will want all customer facing staff to be vaccinated.
