Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

Has there ever been a worse situation in the company?

I can't complain much because I haven't been at UP for a long time and this job still pays my bills, but I've certainly already noticed why it has such a bad reputation. I've only been here 2 years. I wonder if there were such difficult years for a company like 2020–2021 before?

What do you mean difficult times? Have a free UP hot dog young man. You sound like management material. I think you have a bright future.

Title says a difficult situation, but wasn't stated what the situation was. The only thing that came to my mind as a difficult situation was just being a UP employee.

Why is it a “troll” post? Isn’t this forum open to anyone? I did not see where it says only for UP union employees. There are a lot of people negatively affected by PSR and the companies leadership and they are not all union employees.

There's no one left in the company with just two years, maybe management. The last of the college people. That tells me, this is a troll post. The last difficult years were the 2008 meltdown, and the company didn't furlough as many people then as they have done now with PSR.
