Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Enough is enough

I truly don’t understand the T Mobile employees who bash the Metro and Sprint employees. You are the problem with why your company will not have future success. Here is why. If you went to work for Verizon and or Atnt they would probably say all the negative things about you that your saying about Metro and Sprint employees. Why are you working at T Mo? Because you were not professional enough to get into the other 2? They would look down at you because they may have a perception of you and your business practice. They may think your just a watered down 2nd rate rep/ manager/ etc. How does that make you feel. You probably want to respond and bash me. When in reality there are good and bad workers every where. Maybe their managers did not challenge them enough? May they do suck. But stop acting like you are so smart and everyone else is just stupid. The quicker you accept your co workers acquired by tmo from sprint, metro, business department, cable t vision, or any other person (who face a possible lay off like you, don’t kid yourself) and the quicker you worker together as a team, the better All Your lives will be. Work together. INCLUSIVITY which is the c––p your company preaches. Reminder again, You are not smarter than everyone else. Work at a different company and I PROMISE YOU, you will be humbled. Your not curing COVID, your selling phones and service to people who already have one. Think about it.

Perfectly said, @5cdr+1amiD8xK.

Being older, many legacy Sprinters now realize how wise and correct their fathers really were.

That they are worthless and will never amount to anything.

My perception over the years...

T-Mobile employees are kool-aid drinking robots that are not allowed to think for themselves without having a target on their back.

Sprint employees are the masters of fraud. I haven't met one sprint employee that didn't brag about the various forms of fraud they did to make sales.

Sounds like a match made in heaven.

It is wrong to say that legacy Sprint employees are completely worthless. Their organs are worth thousands.

Sprint and its legacy employees are as useful as teats on a bull. Layoffs are merciful to this bunch and far too kind. They should be marched, single-file, through the old, sold, Overland Park campus, given a brown-bag lunch and a one-way bus pass to whatever dump of a town they came from.

T-Mob lies all the time. What carrier doesn’t?? If you actually deep dive into the numbers they publish, none of it makes sense. Their customer service is worse than Sprint and AT&T’s. I’ve worked with some really smart Sprint employees but as someone said, they are almost all gone. T-Mob has opted to retained the Sprint id--ts...the ones who steal people’s work, kiss a-s and throw people under. These Sprint id--ts are the ones in charge now. Congrats...this is the new T-Mob. The day I left the company, I switched to VZW and couldn’t be any happier!

I havent trashed the Sprint employees up to this point. However, every Sprint employee that I have had to work with so far as a software engineer has been extremely stupid. They wont survive here or anywhere else. They keep getting bounced from team to team and they have no skills in any relevant technologies. I am assuming that all the smart Sprint employees are long gone, and only the id--ts are lurking around.

One thing amazing is the tmo and Metro sales teams (not talking about store salespeople) – are held to ZERO accountability. I've never seen anything like it.
You don't hit numbers?? Nothing happens. Your field sales teams underperform? Nothing happens. 0. Nothing. In fact, you'll probably get a healthy bonus....
Mind boggling and a non–existent scenario at ANY other company. Breeds laziness and cockiness.
Guess they won't be so co––y once layoffs start..

Well...one thing is for SURE. Layoffs coming soon and lots of them. There are so many field sales & mgmt they're literally bumping into themselves.

"T–Mob lied about all that?"

My best guess it was Sprint top brass that set the lie in motion. Sprint has a long history of lying to the employees hence they where bought out and totally shut down because in the end those lies will never stand over time. The lies in TM started after the buyout.

I thought this forum was about T–Mobile layoffs and not about someone’s bitterness towards Sprint employees. From what I’ve seen, T–Mob have gotten rid of more Legacy Magenta employees than anyone else. Once they change the severance packages, more layoffs will be coming. Why isn’t anyone talking about that? Or how T–Mob was to add jobs and slash prices? Seems that maybe T–Mob lied about all that?

VZW employee here! What I have found over the many years of working in telecom is this. I ranked and have always ranked Sprint in last place. Every single time I met with a Sprint person in the field I just shook my head and wondered how they got the job they had. However Metro and T–Mobile people were very different and seemed to be a cut above Sprint people. What I think is Sprint would hire anyone off the street just to fill a position. Metro and T–Mobile were and are more choosy and VZW is very choosy as you need a college degree just to get an interview. The reason Sprint failed is the people Sprint hired, pure and simple.

To the OP: @OP+1as8pAi5 You clearly don't work at T–mobile. Nor do you work in the telecom world. I think you are a Sprint customer angry that your favorite company got shut down. Go play in your sand box now and let the adults take over this subject matter.

For the record I was a Sprint Employee for 6 years. I left the company for T–Mobile and we kicked Sprints b––t because the people at T–Mobile and Metro are a better quality of people and workers. Thankfully in my department there will be NO and I repeat NO legacy Sprint employees! Why you might asked, BECAUSE SPRINT OUTSOURCED THEM ALL TO A FOREIGN COMPANY! Enough said!

It's nice to see Sprint dismantled and shut down and the Sprint name tossed in the TRASH! Meanwhile the Metro PCS name endures at least in part. All of the Metro PCS employees I have worked with have been GREAT people, knowledgeable and hard workers. I can't say the same for Sprint Employees which is why I left the company...
