town hall today. dimon says he hates wfh and zoom. it doesn't work regardless what people say. i go to the office every day since last june and so should we. if the gov't says there are enough vaccines on the market by may 15th we should start thinking about reopening the next day. lol. we can start with a hybrid model but i want 100% office capacity hopefully by summer. a company wide email will be sent out within the next week for each location. you should start making plans now to return. some of the people on the operating committee will begin to go on tour and will start to visit places down in the south. i guess he basically is telling the states that resist he will take his business elsewhere.

I am pumped to get back collaborate and check out the new crop of freshman
Its a good move, as this should expedite the creation of the next covid variant. If the next variant in the US is anything like the ones in UK and India, WFH should be back pretty soon.
We have the record high in funding for mortgage and they keep saying to us we are been productive working from home . Beside our building is rent why they want keep paying when we are making more money for them from home . Per Dimon we need to be more social and interact with the colleague. I don’t care about socializing Don’t want to deal with 2 hours commute and deal with this virus.
Senior Management thinks employees are less productive while working from home while I have earned a better rating during pandemic and many appreciations in work which wouldn't have been possible wasting 2 hours of commute time daily.
Dimon only is concerned with money. He doesn't believe in any of these black hirings, employees who have to deal with day care or whatever your issue is. Look at the promotions today for MD. You have to look long and hard to find black people being promoted. He is full of sh-t!
Yeah so quit bellyaching as some folks have it bad. Boo hoo you have to put tie in and drive the Bentley to the office
Yeap and that some people have been fortunate to wfh and so I hope the time was used wisely.
At least you have a job to go back to. I lost mine during this pandemic and it's hard finding a new one.
Science supports going back to the office. I have been there the whole time as my role required it.
Use common sense and with a lil luck of course you will be fine.Dont be stressed as you could catch it going to grocery store or to get your mail.
YOU can go back, don't care how PUMPED YOU are. It's still not safe. This pandemic needs to run It's course.
Yes I recall that but that was last year and we have made much progress since then. Jaimee was in office that week as I saw him on elevator but he does not work on that floor so it makes sense he did not catch the corona that time
Jamie doesn’t need to care since he isn’t at risk exposing himself to others at office indoor. Remember those traders that got infected last year in office?
We can see an end to all of this. I am looking forward to returning to the office and collaborating with coworkers again. I am pumped to keep jp great!!
Hospitals are full, many variants are emerging weekly, vaccines are showing complications. Staff should remain at home for the balance of this year so the disease can run its course and then they can reassess about returning. I don't see any problems with WFH at the moment, it's business as usual, record profits. Certainly has helped with morale, stress levels down from commuting and some annoying coworkers.
13 hours ain't sheet. Jamie does more in an hour then you do all day you pi–s any analyst
Jamie can say whatever he wants. I've worked 13 hour days this past year, if they want to add another 3 in commute I quit. I have no respect for Jamie at all, he's a fraudster.
I am looking forward to going back as I solved many ops issues over coffee during casual conversation. Jaimie is right time to get back to normal
They always say it's best for the company culture. What is the company culture? Money laundering and getting caught and paying fines?
The only ones interested in going back to office are those that have their own office with a door they can shut. Interesting, isn't it?
Interesting. CIB Merchant Services still has not set any date. They said as much during the town hall today.
Wfh gravy train is over. Time to trim beard and tuck shirt in people
