How are there not going to be layoffs? There is no where near as many Targets as there are existing CVS stores. Most Districts are already between 10 to 14 stores, so even if there is a realignment to absorb SOME of the RX Sup’s into a new DL role, I just don’t see that there are enough stores to “re-divide” to accommodate all RX sup’s.

You must be new to cvs. Cvs does what’s best for Cvs how the realignment effects your pay, bonus, feelings etc does not matter, and will never matter. I’ll guarantee you within a year or two there will be another realignment this will happen when field leaders that are absorbed into core start to fall off and look for other jobs or when cvs does more cost cutting.

I assume this was supposed to happen at the beginning of the year, but with the mass LTC vaccination effort, wasn’t going be feasible at all.

My only wonder as a DL, is how can they put a modifier for shrink and carepass in my bonus. You may win or lose with realignment.

I suppose that makes sense. Just a lot of change at an awkward time. But that’s never stopped them from doing something like this before.

The rx sup individual will just assume a new integrated district within core as a DL. Store court isn’t supposed to increase, so the current rx sups will have a new core district.

Awful lot of change, especially when they’re just getting stores fully up and running with in store vaccinations. Plus I saw an announcement just this week about someone getting promoted to a RX sup position for target inside our Division. Seems odd they’d do that if this was all true.

They will move rx sups into a DL role, each district will have a mix of core and target. This is to reduce complexity of each market, as well as reduce overlap (currently 95% of stores overlap another district. This change will reduce it to less than 5%)

Districts will have 10–14 stores, so that will account for the rx sups merging into the DL role

I can't see how the company would merge Target and core channels without either laying off duplicate positions (DL/sup), or repurposing one of the two field leaders. I guess the alternative would be to pool both Target and core stores together and then divide the aggregate into two separate districts, one for each of the field leaders?

I can’t see that timeline considering the engagement survey begins on 5/3. Any proof?
