Many years at Schwab... That feeling can only be understood by those who have also been here for a very long time. Sometimes I think I could have done a lot better if I hadn’t stayed here that long. Sometimes loyalty is generally forced. That loyalty to me seems to have only cost me career advancement. I just hope I can make it to retirement.

Got laid off after 13 years there, I’m glad. I was stagnant and was really only staying for the sabbatical plus the 4 weeks off every year.
Nobody is forcing you to stay, it’s voluntary, no?
