My Director on Friday late afternoon 5:45 rescheduled my 1:1 to 9am Monday . Is this an indication of layoffs? The Directors entire morning is blocked with 1/2 hour meetings?

Ha my boss blocked his calendar in advance to lay me off but I guess meant to invite me at the last minute and forgot. So he was a bit panicked when of course I did not show up to this meeting that was only on his calendar. He spent the first 5 mins babbling about calendars before getting to the point of that I was fired. What a loser.
No in their right mind would work there unless they're desperate (very few to no options) or brain dead.
the call generally happens on a Thursday in the mornings that said, there is not set rule.

Layoffs are typically done on Thursdays and sometimes Wednesdays.
Any HR ladies can shed some light on the endless lay off from the billions in profit each quarter from sick people?
I just heard last week OptumRx hired about 100 people. I don't know how reliable the information is here on this site.
I don't know anyone who got laid off with an appointment scheduled before the day of. But if I were otherwise worried about a layoff, I guess this would make me worry a little more.
