Very excited to be going back to the office in July. 2020 was a very difficult year but overall was an outlier. Things are going back to normal and can't wait to see my allstate family again

Hmm, seems to me, without a great claims department, you arrogant aholes wouldn't have a job...do the math...high premiums, horrible customer service = cancelled policies (which is happening in high droves). So yes, claims IS very important for success. Good luck filing for your unemployment!!
Claims is not why customers pay premiums... That mentality is exactly why claims is so dysfunctional.
Claims does nothing but whine. Grow up or get out!
2020? You're a time traveller???
I will never understand why insurance companies (especially Allstate) treat their claims employees like DIRT! It makes no sense to me...we are the ones who help the customer when the rubber hits the road! It’s literally WHY they pay us premiums! Allstate, overworking and underpaying your claims staff will come back to bite you.
I for one was devastated when I got laid off last year. I loved my job and my teammates. I tried hard to get back in and it finally happened in February. This company has so much to offer and I did not take the layoff personally. It was just business and we all know when we take a job at any level and with any company that layoffs are possible especially in current uncertain times.
However I do understand why some in some areas of the company may not feel the same. My prior job and the job I was able to return to is busy but low stress and good management so I do not feel a lot of what us posted here. There are areas of the company that are a delight to work in.
Time to get back to the office for loads of unpaid overtime, massive stockpile of complaints and unresolved claims, waiting patiently with so much pent up love and affection for the next round of terminations and layoffs. And the bottom feeders all work at home office not in claims.
Just because some people hate working for Allstate doesn't mean everyone does. Why else would there be so many lifers, if there weren't people who enjoy working there? It is pretty cushy once you get out of the bottom feeder (grunt) departments like claims.
Nice try troll. Gimme a break. If this is a “family” it’s highly dysfunctional.
