Does Sam's Club pay for bereavement leave?

Even if your boss tells you to just press bereavement when calling out does not guarantee pay. You need to fill out a paper the old school way and sign it then your manager will pay you. Without the paper you will not get paid. You can still do it and it will go on next paycheck just get with your manager and do it.
I think my manager is messing with me. I told him I was going to a funeral, he told me to just select 'Bereavement' as my call out reason and it would be ok. I did, all 3 days.
Didn't get paid.
Bit of a background story,
I got a 1/2 point last October for a 16 minute 'Early Out' – i.e. I was told to cut time and I did (point since removed after telling him about it)
Got another 1/2 point for leaving mid–shift and I utilized Protected PTO (again removed after having to face him about it)
One or two accidental oversights? maybe, but I am starting to feel a trend here.
They are supposed to. But it depends on management approval.
Yes, but expect repercussions for missing work (a legitimate reason but not to Sam's). Ridiculous I know. The schedule is written as if no one will call out for any reason. I would not be surprised if your hours are cut as 'punishment.'
Yes for immediate family only... husband, wife, kids, grandparents
It’s on the wire you can look up what is included as far as immediate family. You get 3 days off with pay just get with your manager they have to input it into the system for you to get paid
