She is incompetent and not willing to listen or learn
Who hired this stupid woman?

Just checked Oxy yahoo finance having not checked it in a while. It is hard to believe the market cap is so low. What will change in the foreseeable future to take this company back close to the big leagues.
That is really unprofessional talk. How did you learn to be such a potty mouth.
While you are shedding tears about poor VH, you should really be thinking about all the people she has back stabbed at Oxy during her career. Calling her a POS is actually a complement.
Those are are some real hurtful comments you are making about our CEO. She is nice and has her heart in it. And that’s the truth.
VH exemplifies he more you blow the higher you go. What a no-talent id--t, and always has been.
Why would she step down. She is making good money and besides where else would she go. I suppose with her woke attitude she could run for office.
She read a book about Bear Bryant so she will never “give up”. She will have to be shown the door, and hopefully soon for the sake of the suffering shareholders.
She will never step down due to her own over inflated hubris.
Go woke, go broke.
What exactly was she preaching? I missed it.
I was willing to give her more of a chance because of the whole Covid thing. But once she went to the "woke" side and made Oxy political she lost me. I don't need a CEO of any company to preach politics and proper behavior to me. This is not junior high, and she is way out of her league in my opinion. Work is work, so keep your politics to yourself, and especially if you are the leader of a multi-billion dollar company.
VH is the worst CEO in American Corporate history - Harvard Business School will use her of an example of how not to do deals - WB must have had wood when he was dealing with her
Why didn't she fly from Paris to Algiers and ask SH about selling the North African assets to Total ?
She was plain stupid
One last time.
Ms. Vicki was not CEO material.
The best person to run the company at the highest level, is the best person to run the company.
Vicki was NOT that person.
She wasn't from Day 1 and she certainly didn't grow into the role. Instead of continuing in the cruise control mode that Chazen set – and, perhaps, learning the ropes along the way – Vicki felt the need to make her mark (satisfy her ego).
She failed badly. Very badly. Pure and simple.
To all the Vicki apologists: Spare us the kind, caring, considerate and other Mother Theresa virtues. We don't believe it and neither do you.
Vicki was promoted based on gender alone. The BOD wanted to appear 'woke,' progressive, inclusive, loyal, diverse, blah, blah, blah . . . .
And, it actually could have worked.
That is, until Vicki went off script believing she did, indeed, possess special foresight and deal making skills.
Houston to Paris to Omaha in 24 hours and hence the Anadarko fiasco.
Ironically, in one of his infamous shareholder letters, Warren Buffett said:
“If you've been playing poker for half an hour and you still don't know who the patsy is, you're the patsy.”
'Nuff said.
Maybe she will just step down. She has made her mark on seeing us through COVID-19 and now it is time to go.
She has a low IQ and very naive, but I guess it’s not her fault that she was handed the CEO job.
Reminds me of ‘30 Rock’ when the CEO’s brain dead daughter was given the job after he died.
You are confusing smart business decisions and being nice.
Vicki is great! what are you talking about? Oxy kept us safe during a pandemic, that's what I care about.
I like Vicki. She clearly gets that the world is changing and is willing to adapt unlike so many of you ignorant people posting.
Are you joking? You don’t know.
