Now that Centene has released financial results for the first quarter that indicate a strong start in 2021 with solid revenue and earnings growth, I wonder if the much–speculated hiring freeze will end.
I have seen someone ask this question in previous threads, but there is no answer. Maybe someone has some insight?
Centene has been hiring all along.
That will continue.
So will the layoffs.
There will be constant layoffs as they get rid of senior people who make more money and replace them with cheaper, inexperienced people.
It’s at least through the end of Q2. Likely beyond.
Add the hiring freeze to the new “back to work” 4 in / 1 out mentality a d I think they’re trying to organically get people to quit. You don’t always have to lay people off - you can make them want to leave.
