How can I use my old sick hours? I heard manager has to put in...but when I request days, what do I need put in before she fix? Unpaid or pto?

I had to put in PTO initially then my manager goes in and switches it to legacy time. Just did it this week
I just used mine this past week. I put in for unpaid sick days and my manager took the hours from legacy time. I didn't have any problems
We were told you can only use them for medical reasons. Managers have to put the time in for you.
Are you just using them for extra days off?
Oh, and make sure they take it out as Sick time. There is another option for them to use, unpaid sick time, but this will take it out of your PPTO. My manager did this to me the first time I used my hours.
You can put in for unpaid days off if you want to make sure you’re not scheduled on those days. Otherwise, when you ask your Manager to put in your Legacy sick days you’ll have to remind them to take you off the Schedule. Do not put in for pto or it will use that time. The manager has to put you in for Sick time.
