Layoffs looming for GEHC?

Layoffs looming for GEHC?

It is nearing the end of May 2021. Thursdays in the past have been the thirty-day death-knell (GEHC layoff).

What is the word out there?

Oh, do not worry this will occur every thirty days until the end of year. NBD

Yep, some FE layoffs, probably will continue.
How much can they trim the guys actually doing the service work ?
I would not be surprised if they get to a point in some regions where they will not have any expertise available to make quality repairs and customers will wait and wait and eventually go to other vendors for new equipment and service.
Maybe I will get laid off, at least I'd be off the roller coaster.
Layoffs wont stop,

I think Pensions will be sold to insurance companies to become annuties so GE can escape the burden
In the next 4 or 5 years, or Culp will destroy GE and were all screwed.
Maybe a bigger crook then Imelt.
I'm looking to work for a competitor this year, hoping my experience and knowledge learned from GE will pay off in a better career.
We can do better then GE, and not have to deal will managers arrogance and stupidity.

There may and will always be layoffs or reductions and life will go on.
But I doubt there will ever be packages to go with the reductions, they are a thing of the past.
The next job you find will be better than your GE job.
Culp will ra-e the company and by the time the next union negotiations in June of 23, we will find out that all good GE benefits will be in the rear view mirror.
Consider that you are better getting out before Jan of 24 when biggest changes will implemented.
Your Pensions may even see some negative changes in 2024.
Beware.
Not Kidding about this !

GEHC managers are so F-ing arrogant!

They think GEHC is the only place in the world to work!

That if you get let go (laid-off) you will not better yourself. They are so F-ing wrong! It is this arrogance and attitude towards their subordinates that make this a horrible place to work. Most managers at HC need to go.

Yes, that is how this Company rolls. They have the layoff game-plan down to a science. The word needs to get out that this is a corrupt, garbage Company to go and work for, let alone try to build a career, raise a family etc. There are MUCH BETTER career opportunities elsewhere. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR BS cause that is what it is, IT IS BULLSH!T!

FU GE and GE Healthcare!!
