Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

A worrying trend?

Does it seem to you that more people than ever are leaving this company?

I know two great young and talented people who gave notice last week. Those at the top make a lot of mistakes if they think that the same rules apply now as they did a long time ago and they will have to work hard to improve working conditions if they want to reduce the numbers of the best people leaving here.

How many people are retiring because they are tired of their situation. Worked to death, no acknowledgement of quality work or knowledge, and always poor leadership. USB drives people to retirement because they hate working here. Lots of seasoned vets would love to work longer if this was a quality company. They retire as soon as they can, just to get out. It's a sh*t show.

Yes. I've seen this, both leaving and retiring. Guess what. I'm going to be the next one out. Seen too many things. It seems like they're trying to crash the company.

This is no longer a company to build a career at. All young people should stop, build a nice note on the resume and run. Run fast and far. If you stay, expect low pay, long hours, zero respect or acknowledgement of great work. Don't listen to their BS. Quality companies exist. Can't hurt to shop your talents to receive your actual value.

Nobody cares about the company anymore nor the fee based business lines which are led by those with zero experience, background or capability in those competitive arenas, plenty of smoke and mirrors to post a number that no one is really proud of and is all based on fuzzy math anyway

Nobody cares about the employee. It's all politics and eye-candy at the SVP levels and above. Go to a better organization, get a better environment. Stop breathing the toxic air and drinking from the poisoned well. Let the politicians rot in heck
