Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

How is that CA Agreement working out now? Sold jobs for a buck! T rates ruined the history of the 301 and what the union built for the future.

T rates Sold out for a buck and higher healthcare to do 4-5 people’s job codes. Soon there will be 200 people working in 273 and it’s coming sooner than you think. All management has to do is keep piling on the work to one guy to keep that guy busy for 8-10 hours. Soon mandatory OT will be brought into the mix to keep the bar shop slowing at a reduced cost. The writing is on the wall layoffs are coming in a big wave.

What happened to an honest days work? What happened to piece rate? Isn’t that the way the we got the legacy pay? Giving up piece rate for hourly rate? All out the window I guess.

I don't follow this BS post. If people have more capacity to work, load them up! You have no entitlement to doing only "x" amount of work and no more. Get you a_s to work!

Anyone that is in a C classification should be looking for work now, and remember if you voted for the consolidation agreement, you did this to yourself.

Keep working hard T Rates your GE job will be over soon. Keep producing the junk product and work yourselves out of a job. Your thinking outside the box you ego is high. You think your all engineers and politicians but deep down inside your just an unskilled T rate. I will be laughing at those T’s as they are on the other side of the gate. I want to see the T’s ego’s deflate as they turn in their badges AGAIN. Meanwhile I will get the option to have YOUR OT everyday. Seniority Rules but I’m sure the T’s will have the option to sc--w that up as well.
