Do you people even get enough time to rest? My work life balance no longer exists. I have always despised those whose entire identity comes down to their job, but here I have become such a person by force of circumstances because I no longer have time for any hobbies.
It’s awful and I’m telling everyone this to prevent them from making a big mistake and coming to my place when I finally manage to get out of this company.

As a department leader my best advice is do your best and don't stress. Home office effed up with the layoffs last year just to make Wilson and Shapiro more money. Should have never happened. We only expect a fair and just effort and we do not worry about what Glenn Shapiro wants. He made himself irrelevant in our eyes many months ago. He lost all our respect and your leadership gives a big vote of no confidence to Wilson, Shapiro, and others. We do not recognize Glenn Shapiro's vision and Transformative Growth is no longer a part of our area. Bully and abuse other departments until they as well shut you out. You have no place in our area. We work for the customers, not Tom Wilson and Glenn Shapiro.
Work 40 hours a week only. Allstate upper management decided to lay off yons of adjusters on my area so let them deal with the consequences and figure it out. Customer service is pretty bad right now because Allstate is trying to save a dime shipping adjuster jobs to India too.
Simple solution. Quit caring! Ever since I quit caring last year and just doing my job each day at the level I feel like each day I have not had any stress or worry. They are not going to get rid of me because they already don't have enough people to do my job after their foolish ridiculous cuts last year. I quit caring once they had the gall to think that I was just going to do 2 to 3 times the work for the same money because they decided to lay off 1/3 of my department. Bullsh##. Not happening. The only way they are getting rid of me is if they let our entire position and department go and I can't control these fools' layoffs. Don't take your job so seriously and don't worry about any of it because the id--ts that run this company can't do it themselves and they themselves don't care. Take care of yourself and your own well being before worry about this flophouse of a corporation.
My u it is putting in 55 plus hours a week trying to keep up writing estimates to meet the new metrics . We’ve lost 8 adjusters . We hire one and two quit in auto .

Allstate would prefer that the old dogs quit and quit now so they can replace with young foreign workers. That’s why they are working you so hard now.
