Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

I equate Stephenson and Stankey with the following

Elizabeth Holmes and Enron, Bernard Madoff, The Enron Gang Skilling Fastow and Lay. Only thing is I consider these groups smarter as Stephenson and Stankey never fooled anyone. They were enabled by a impotent board of directors. But the financial and personal destruction as a result of Stankey and Stephenson outweighs all the 3 mentioned combined.

I’ve seen it posted here more than once and I agree. ‘You know you’re really not anonymous’.

So you found another company you don't like so you gonna try to say AT&T like that company. So clever.

First you need to learn to spell...analogy — not analog. Next understand how to use punctuation and when to capitalize. Finally, please provide evidence of your claims about Mr. Stankey....otherwise you could be considered a blowhard who has no facts to support the ruthless, non-stop, vitriolic BS. Thank you.
PS: Ms. Holmes is innocent until proven guilty. Where is Martin Shkreli on your list of bad boys?

You know nothing about Elizabeth Holmes, yet she made it on your list...1st. Why is that? Nothing you’ve written supports any scintilla of truth; except your deep rooted angst (prefer to use a stronger word) for leadership. It wouldn’t matter who was at the helm.

It’s way too premature to include Elizabeth Holmes on your list of the worst of the worst

I disagree, I think she's a great analog for Stankey. She had all these big ideas that she just KNEW would work and hired a bunch of people to just make it happen, but was clueless as to what needed to be done in reality. She then spent a lot of time talking about how great things were going & they were "this close" to the next big thing.

Stankey is the same way - or was up until he ate this terdburger . He thought he'd wipe out netflix an hulu through the sheer force of his genius, never understanding what actually had to be done to manage any of it. Now it's everybody's fault but his own and he's STILL talking things up like this has been his plan all along.

Even with the dividend cut, the stock is still in the top 10% of highest paying dividends. No reason to be #1, smart, move to make the cut now, pay down some debt, make some investment and then increase the dividend very very slowly.

Poster: You have zero evidence to back up this post claiming fraudulent behavior....just the usual bile in your throat. If you’re still employed, however, I’d be very careful about making these accusations. They could come back to haunt you and could be career affecting.

It’s way too premature to include Elizabeth Holmes on your list of the worst of the worst...she’s not even gone to trial yet.....But I digress: Ask anyone from WorldCom/MCI (Verizon)— about Bernie Ebbers—horrendous crook. Dennis Kozolowski — Tyco — a real scoundrel and definitely a swindler. Remember John Ragas-Aldephia—ran it in the ground. Former Qwest employees will not forget Joe Nacchio....There are waaay too many executives who thought they could get away with stealing all that money or fraudulent accounting schemes and not have to pay the price. Sooner or later it catches up with them.
As for the other people on your list...I’ll bet Jeffrey Skilling wish he’d never said he was the smartest guy in the room; and poor Kenneth Lay....well may he rest in .... Same goes for the two Bernies.
Now let’s talk about political criminals who should be in jail..not the ones you don’t like.... but the known swindler, tax cheaters, bait and switch, pay to play.....like say...Agnew. These are the real crooks who rarely see the inside of a prison cell.....

These 2 clowbs and their sycophant minions of SVPs and VPs and AVPs have never seen a YouTube, iTunes, Tick Tock coming down the road. The Mack Truck of Cord Cutting was staring everyone but them in the face and ran them over like roadkill. They always know best and drive off anyone who has a different and far better opinion. The past 10 years werent about Customers, Employees, or Shareholders. It was all a John and Randy Ego Trip that failed like no other. But dont forget it was the government's and cord cuttings fault. Whos fault will it be when the wireless business is a distant third and hemmoraging customers wuarter after quarter? Whos fault when the stock will be sub $15 next year?

Nothing ignorant in OP, facts hurt! How anyone can even try to defend Stephenson and Stankey for their failed acquisitions and other inept decision making is difficult to understand. It's downright criminal, what they've done to AT&T, the employee, and the stockholders.

At least $150 Billion in shareholder value vaporized by theae two clowns. Still a lot of debt but not much left to sell. Once Tmobile ramps up their attacks on the ATT subscriber base the layoffs will come fast and furious. Q1 results had stock at $33.50 and today it is $29.33 and falling. Great job Enron Stankey and Theranos Stephenson.
