Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Competition overtaking Fiserv?

Does it seem to you that the competition is doing much better things and going much further, while the management at Fiserv does not know what to do with this company? I hope I'm wrong, I would most like Fiserv to be far ahead of all the competition, but unfortunately it doesn't seem that way to me.

It is not difficult to imagine why competition is leaving Fiserv in the dust, when Fiserv has extreme outages that occur with increasing frequency. Like the one right now that is preventing our customers from accessing their own accounts.

Fiserv is just trying to manage numbers like GE back in the day. It’s an accounting project only. That should explain all what current employees need to know

"who is doing better and who is doing worse."

The former is Frank and the latter are the employees.

Many competitors in our space including fis, gp, square, stripe and Adyan. We have leading market share in most all of our businesses and our merchant business and Clover are growing faster than all others. We also have leading market share in billpay, and accounting processing, and issuer solutions. The industry is very competitive and each quarter results reveal who is doing better and who is doing worse.
