Thanks, that is what I suspected. Don’t know what the end game is.

As someone responsible for recruiting new hire in India as part of HW3 I will say that we are not trying to attract the best and brightest. Salary bands and CL levels are completely misaligned with market rates for top development and business talent. Have had 10+ top candidates walk once we shared salary. It got so bad we had to almost triple the number of candidates we interviewed to get an A, B and C candidate. Tried to work with HR both domestically and in country to raise salary bands - it’s obvious they aren’t worried about the quality of talent or the attrition that’s soon to grow exponentially……

Coming out of a Top notch university doesn't define where you will be. It's the learning in the job and smart thinking takes people to a new level. Having said that BTC employees are thrown low quality data centric work in the name of being competitive and what cr-p are you expecting from them.

Never distinguish by race , color , location and Universities. Everyone has their unique skillset and it depends on the oppurtunities. Few fraud , few pretend to know everything but when they are put to test , things come out eventually. Please donot generalize stuff here for a few miscreants in the organization.

I am Indian-American and have been following the BTC developments. It’s really strange that I don’t see the best people in India join Exxon ( maybe salaries are low?). There seems to be no effort to hire the best and the brightest (is it by design?)

There is no cache for the Exxon name in India people regard it as just another multinational, so unless they pony up the money or opportunities I don’t see how this will work.

This is incorrect, everyone everywhere has been forced to put people in NSI. Which is weird because they are also hiring 100s but with dozens leaving.

Its a joke, and management failure to even keep low cost employees in a talented country like India unhappy and under paid.

What Is worst? BTC employees from some of the worst educational institutes in India who are buying time till they find another useless job with higher salary
Or
The low intellects again from the same poor universities in India who got hired by ExxonMobil in the US? This second type is constantly licking boots of management while taking online management classes to further fraud the system
