Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Leave ATT (Do yourself a BIG Favor)

Get out of this horrible company. I left and its been a positive in absolutely every way. Bunch of lazy incompetent engineers work at ATT. Except for the National team most all of them are a bunch of spoon fed babies.

happy for you but for people of color in these times kind of hard to find another job. unless this post can provide/list some places that welcome people of color?

"I left and its been a positive in absolutely every way."
And that is why you're still here posting. You left, or got booted?

Keep in mind that none of this applies to bargained for employees until T decides to reduce their benefits as well. So far, all is intact and nothing has changed, but the contracts are up in April of 2022. We'll see what type of significant changes T will make if any. There's always the strike option ace-in-the-ho-e that bargained for has.

You may get lucky and stay, but remember, the new process is to cycle through new employees keeping the average NCS at 3 years tops. They are done with career employees. No one should ever expect to get 3-4 weeks vacation going forward. Few if any other bennies apply, possible catestrophic health care coverage that you subsidize.

The union pay is difficult to walk away from not to mention that you only work about 10-15 hours a week for a 40 hour paycheck! Hard to beat anywhere else! I’m sticking around cuz it’s basically money for nothing and I’m laughing all the way to the bank every two weeks!
