consulted @ pru for a year or 2 worst place glad i just came in to do a project no wonder they brought me in their IT network team have been there way too long .. and were complacent and useless they hated the fact they brought consultants in . hopefully they cut over to the new production data center and back up in Minnesota ... they wasted a lot of money on dimension data and cisco .. the cisco salesman was good .. they bought cr-p they didn't need .. They should get rid off all of roseland

Great comment, feel the same! I know many who are hoping to get laid off to be done with the chaos. Sad, because a couple of years ago Pru was still a highly profitable company that we enjoyed working for. Corporate and executive greed, it's never enough is the new driver.

@bfzt+1bE5cvGi it's more than maddening! It's disgusting that everyone is on edge because they're wondering if they're gonna be the next ones let go. I'm on my third manager this year! I've had to reach out to people only to find they've been let go. The 'transformation' seems to be never ending, the changes are not communicated well (but that's my fault because I don't network enough, or that's what I've been told at least when I tried to raise my concerns), everyone is confused.

But, it has also been oddly freeing. Prudential has always been a very judgemental workplace in my experience and anything less than perceived perfection and knowledge means you suck. I find myself so sick of working in this toxic environment that I don't care if I get laid off and that takes the pressure off of needing to be perfect. I don't read my email 15 times to make sure it's perfect, I don't care if I ask a stupid question, I don't care if I make an honest mistake. This feeling of freedom has done more for my career development than my thee managers have done all year.

Things became toxic a few years ago, and is getting worse because of this whole transformation cr-p. People don't perform well when the work piles on, and you are in constant fear of losing your job.

I can't be the only one who's noticed this change.
