Thread regarding Ascension Health layoffs

Time to leave

I think things have been going from bad to worse for a while now and even the biggest optimists can see the writing on the wall by now. You have two choices here, either leave on your own terms or wait for them to let you go (with or without severance.) I chose the first option.

It's not Gerry, it is EC and the board that is mesmerized by him.

It was refreshing to leave on my own. Gerry has to be the biggest failure of a leader that I have ever worked under.

It is obvious all of IT will be outsourced as soon as it us convenient for them. Also know that if you leave on your own accord, you can share with the world what is going on at Ascension. That they are outsourcing permanently to another country. That if there is breach or pt info is stolen, there is nothing you can do about it. That they are a 'non profit' in the hands of private equity, converting those tax savings into profitable entities that they use to juice the hospitals they own. That EC is a hack and that Studio is a very very expensive mistake AND THEY REFUSE TO ADMIT IT. They need to invest in methane next to keep all those gaslight lit.
