Thread regarding Hertz layoffs

No protection

I don't understand why Hertz continues to punish its best employees both by pushing us under the bus when it comes to customers and by making sure we are among the first to lay off. How is that good business practice? It looks like if I want to be safe and protected, I need to work less, gossip more, and most importantly, make sure to kiss my bosses behind.

And being a Boss at this terrible company, I would say that is what you need to do. I only want people that are going to follow orders and make my life easier.
