They had a chance to be a business leader but, as per usual, it eluded them.

TG’s comment about elevator collaboration doesn’t work outside of the EC . We are chained to our desks, covering for multiple people and we don’t collaborate unless we’re rotating bathroom breaks.
Meanwhile, EC is out of touch. Using an entire conference room as a personal office is not nearly the same experience as employees. Try being at an open desk all day on client meetings and dealing with clients telling you they can't hear you on the call because of background noise. Deal with that 8 or more hours a day then you can tell me how collaboration in the office is working for us.
What is the new policy?
They really can’t get anything right at this place.
Shocker the EC retracted their previous stance - and what happened to 50% in office at a time? This is going to backfire quick when talent leave the company due to the lack of work/life balance and the people that do stay stop responding to inquiries outside of normal hours (night and weekends). When September rolls around it will have been working for 16 months for most departments/teams - if you don’t have a need to go in - why go in? I know some people on my team that want to go in but majority do not want to or need to.
