With everything that has happened this past year it is easy to be negative. Every once in a while I remember I have much to be thankful for. I’m not saying I like all that has happened but at the same time maybe I need to think about the good things too.

Working for some company you don’t like, that pays you well, provides pension and health benefits and likening it in any way to “a slave mentality” is disgusting. If you’re so oppressed and haven’t left, it’s probably because you lack the ambition or rely on your apathetic tendencies to do nothing to remove yourself from your oppressed position. You sound like a lazy sac who expects everything without giving any hard work or making sacrifice. Do your coworkers and company a favor and quit. Maybe the “freedom” to panhandle is something you would find appealing with no oversight and no one pushing you to be your best. Good luck with your quest for freedom.
that is called a slaves mentality.
free people are supposed to be treated like animals. and we definitely should not be adoring our abusers
As a contractor who has been hit by layoffs over and over, for 25 yr y’all don’t know how good you have it! It’s gross! Go work and Home Depot then! Quit the high stress! Quit b*tchin and leave your salary and pension. It’s so simple a solution for people who claim to be so smart. Or shut your fat mouth and do the job your (very well) paid to do. Or try to actually look at what you have and appreciate it. What don’t you get? I know dozens (or hundreds) of people in industry who would be blessed to have the fortunate opportunities so many of you complain about.
So easy to be naive.
Not while working for an evil organization buddy
