Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Damned if you do

At my club we have members with high expectations and management whose expectations are even higher. I’ve tried balancing both - which can sometimes be in direct opposition of each other. It doesn’t really work out well if you are a people pleaser because often neither is satisfied. Mostly, I try to help the member at the cost of my manager getting upset with me (when a member interrupts a task I’m trying to finish). I always believed our members come first but I’m beginning to think my manager doesn’t seem to think so.

Do you! Use your heart! If you're a "top" partner, you have nothing to worry about. They will not get rid of you because they can't replace you! At the end of your shift, the member is your boss!
