Anyone receive an out of cycle pay bump recently? Heard of couple people unexpectedly getting pay increase. Curious if this was related to adjustments in pay tiers maybe?

2 years ago I got a 10% increase mid year out of the blue. It was incredible. Would be great if it happens this year. Friends in another org had titles changed a month ago and got nothing despite higher band.
Santone said that out-cycle pay increases would be part of new compensation structure. I did not believe it, but maybe it actually was true? If so, I would have to assume that the lucky recipients are young and near the bottom of the pay scale.

It isn’t a pay increase, one time payment for what used to be lumped into annual bonus for over achievers.
There might be a small population that were in the extreme low end of the pay scale that did received a pay bump. Don’t be too happy, this means the company have been underpaying you for years. In my org of 300+, no one fell into category. So when Stank/McFresh/ HR claimed that bringing up the pay scale on the low end is competitive, it is all BS. Lowering the scale on the high end impacted dramatically more people, specially when you have 10, 20, 30 years at the same level.

Keep on dreaming. T leadership is proud of having created a workforce that lives in fear everyday. Why would they spoil this by giving OOC pay increases? No crumbs for you!
