Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

What makes the foundation of a good club?

I hate to say it but my club leaves a lot to be desired and I wish things could be better. I’m yet to see anyone compliment their own club (or another) and it makes me feel like we’re all in the same boat. My question here is are there any clubs that excel in all areas and if there is a “magic formula” for it? I’m curious to know what makes your clubs stand out.

You have to have the right amount of older workers or "legacy" partners that are used to taking the brunt of the work, while the "others" zone(walk around on their phones) their entire shift! Real analysis!

A great club manager. We had one that everybody loved and respected because he would work side by side with you and come in and work on his days off. He would always give us payday breakfast and lunches. Then they transferred him to Yuma. Bottom line is he made it fun and enjoyable to come to work everyday. Not once did you wake up in the morning and say " I hate my job" " I hate this place "

My club has been going downhill at a rapid pace for the last 10 years. It's simply the Sams/ Walmart culture now. It's disgusting and I'm ashamed to work at Sam's. Fortunately, I will be gone within a few months. 😆

My club used to be really good untill covid hit... Once covid hit everyone began calling off and or quit and since then we have been unable to hire people. Now it's been a year every department is understaffed and work is just piling up with no one to do it.... However before covid I enjoyed going to work and most of the people seemed to think it was OK. When the biggest complaint is a lack of handhelds then I think the place is fine.
