Another exec fleeing this festering sinking ship of rats....
Because she'd been here 17 years making the people she worked for look good at a company touting diversity initiatives that passed her up multiple times for roles she was already doing (ahem, CFO). Another company saw her value and made her an appropriate offer, and once again we were clueless. Wagner was pretty much the backbone of that org for years. It is sad that they once again let the solid talent walk while entertaining absolute failures in other parts of the business.
Also Citrix "diversity" is an absolute joke. We had a perfect opportunity to make a diverse executive move with her and instead we let her walk. Meanwhile with only a few exceptions we only have women in stereotypical leadership positions like HR. It's gross that we've been crowing about this for years and haven't made any meaningful progress at the top. The lower parts of the org are somewhat better, but mostly it's PR oriented BS.
But no, this doesn't signal layoffs if that's what you're on about...
