Sales Kickoff- Fear of the "ankle biters"

I am hearing that this week there was a sales kickoff event where Carlos and the executive team shared a brand new "marketing strategy" where ADP will be spending significant money on targeting the small payroll companies/ competition that at one time were INGORED by ADP as not worth their time. These include Paylocity, Paycor, Paycom, etc. All of these companies are now being led at the CEO level by ex-ADP associates.

As to why ADP would target these companies with marketing dollars? Well- it is because ADP is now LOSING to these companies. It seems that customer service matters, and laying off significant tenure with wild experience might actually have an impact on client retention. It would seem this may have been lost on some of the 20/20 vision planning.

I’ve seen some of the advertisements. I am surprised they took the low road.

I guess that ADP doesn't have "20/20" vision after all.
