I’m hearing what Intel is offering former employees to return… actual hard data with numbers. 50% more base and 5x the RSU vs what I made when I left two years ago. After being consistently given the standard 2% and told I’m being paid at the top of my grade by my clueless micromanager, its painfully obvious how full of bu-----t my management was.
These RSU CTR bonuses are not going to be enough to retain the talent they need. When current employees find out how much the rehires in their same grade are making, and how much more they can get elsewhere by leaving, they’ll leave if they’re smart. And many already are.
You don’t advance in your compensation by staying put, and nowhere is that more true than Intel.
