Do you know a company that's more mismanaged than this? I can't think of one. Yet those on top are able to keep their positions, to keep their bonuses, to keep all the benefits the rest of us can only dream about. Why are they not held accountable for every bad decision they've made in the past several years?

With "stars" like SN in AP it comes as no surprise...
Anyone know? Did anyone on email team get axed for this mayhem? Or did they just get “try harder next time”?
So what happened with mail? Is not still down? Did anyone get fired? Or was it just a “try harder next time Bob”?
Because they are management... and you are not... LOL!
Not only NOT held responsible but then promoted to the next band, seen it so many times over the years. Not saying they do not deserve another chance, but do not promote them with in the year of the sc--w up.
Years ago I remember being in a meeting about pay raises, we were told that the top performers would be paid more and get more of the awards, since they took on more risk and more responsibility. The question was then asked of mgt, (by me), so if they rewarded for success, will they dinged for their sc--w ups? And why do we also get dinged for their sc--w ups when there is nothing we can do about it?
answer - crickets!
Let’s take a bet:
- UPvote if you think there will be repercussions for the person responsible.
- DOWNvote if you think IBM won’t do anything to the person that caused the fiasco and $ lost in productivity and extra work.
I’ll bet the person responsible for the email fiasco, whomever didn’t properly load test the servers doesn’t even get a slap on the wrist. Probably keeps their job. This will tell you a lot about IBM and the club culture.
Sad but true.
No ideas why the grossly overpaid executives are not held accountable
Club culture?
It's a club up there. Take care of each other.
Board of Directors have made horrid decisions and are accountable to themselves only.
GR was a disaster left to run for too long, getting paid obscene amounts to fail year after year.
JK CFO has created his own fiefdom and control with no signs of it being broken.
This is why.

Yes, my friend, it is called, DXC. Visit:

CEO, CHRO and their cronies have awarded themselves upto 84% hikes, while telling the rank and file there is no money, as revenue is down $2B.
Because they can…
Our board if directors are old and not from tech backgrounds. They don’t understand what we really do. They just hear from GR or AK on what’s going on.
