Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Do you compare yourself to other employees?

When I first came to this company I did, it was important to me not to be much less productive than my colleagues. In my opinion, competitiveness is a good thing and is normal for any company. However, the problem is that Mondelez leadership has not created a healthy environment in which competitiveness would serve to maximize results, but it all comes down to backstabbing which has the opposite effect.

There are policies in place to prevent bias on objective setting and territory neglect, hold your DM to enforcing it!
Mondelez is a disgraceful and disgusting place to work. Most of the good folks use this company as a stepping stone to move on, the ones that stick around become so tainted with toxic work ethics, nobody wants them.

I do compare myself to other employees. I've come to the conclusion I'm way prettier.

Replying to @1sub+1bXpUmra man your absolutely right about those "sales rep overloading stores back room." I HATED IT!! I always knew it was them. I was told different. GLAD I LEFT THAT PLACE. LIFE FEELS SO MUCH BETTER. That place was he-l. I was a good worker too. I always clean up the mess. Man cr-p was tiring. Forget them folks lol. Man if anyone can find better. Do it. Its worth it. Much success to everyone though.

My DM gives some workers a teeny, tiny baby number for their objective. All they have to do is order half a-s shelf orders, and they hit their number. I've seen this for myself. Absolutely gutted shelves, no back stock, empty displays in every store, and the sales rep is hitting the number, and their stores hate them!

Then he makes others numbers huge, and the only way that sales rep can hit their number is to completely over load every stores back room, and try to sell in 10 incremental displays per store, and this poor person may barely scrape by with 100%, if they are lucky.

They may actually be at 110% over prior year, but with their rediculous sales objective the person is at a negative, or flat % for this year.

I've done 105% over prior year, but came in flat due to inflated objective

Meanwhile my coworker was flat over prior year, but came in at 105% over prior year due to their low objectives.

Then said person got call outs, awards, received recognition, big raise, etc.

Bias, favoritism, nepotism rampant in this company.

Set up for failure.

Mondelez gets all the growth they want while the sales reps bust their a-s trying to hit a completely unfair, unobtainable number. Some sales reps, favored ones that is, are babied and coddled.

Disgusting company!

Punishes great workers babies and coddles lackluster and or favored employees.

And you wonder why you can't find anyone to work here???

Who would ever, EVER recommend someone to work at an abusive, biased, unfair employer like Mondelez???

Wow, just wow, on many levels!

all your dm is concerned about is looking good to his/her boss. dont make the mistake of thinking someone is your "friend" because you work at the same place and speak to each other on occasion.
the folks that are so easily making their numbers are piling cr-p in their accounts, either by canceling edi/cao orders and ordering their own or just ordering on top of the orders in the system. ive seen it catch up with a half dozen different reps over the last 10 years first hand. its only an issue if the stores complain!

This company does not reward a good worker , a solid vacation rep , a good full time order write/merchandiser .. that’s the real negative ! You can clean up messes every store request you to be there rep and they let everyone know that but you are never rewarded , only given more orders to throw and more sh-t shows to clean up ! It does not pay to be the best you can be

Its the culture they foster! If I were you, I'd just quit. Your life will improve. So many jobs out there. Mondelez culture is the worst!

My DM seems to be encouraging back stabbing lately. He has worst management style I've ever seen. But unfortunately I dont feel I can trust anyone enough to discuss it.
