Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

I don’t remember when I worked here without stress

It is no longer a question of how stressed you are, because I do not know anyone here whose mental health isn't endangered by all the stress here.
Perhaps the better question is when was the last time you were stress free at this company? I don't even remember anymore. I’ve been under so much pressure lately that I’m starting to wonder if it’s worth working here at all.

@1tpe+1bY15FlG, I'm a year away from Fiserv, and with a job that pays me 15K more and with bonuses. And I no longer work nights and weekends, or deal with pressures brought on my project mgrs and their unreasonable promises to customers.

You're overworked and stressed? It's on you if you stay in that sweatshop. The job market is really hot right now.

Actually this is a lot of truth here on this board, and you just wish all your dirty employees abusing tactics were not being spilled on a public board. I can't believe banks are still working with Fiserv. Especially the way they treat employee's.

Funny how people come here make comments about things they know nothing about, such as earnings on Tuesday, the pandemic, bonuses, return to office protocol, etc… You are hurting your credibility because so far you’ve been wrong on almost everyone of your negative predictions. I hope you don’t gamble, you would be broke.

back in the day things were a lot more fun and my team was amazing . lots of good talent, paired with a fair and trusting manager without micromanagement. nowadays it is just pure fire drill BS without any "feel good" moments, and all the talent is leaving. Guy is too busy patting his favorite OFD employees on the back to care

Fiserv handed out bonuses. I guess you were in that “meets most” category that didn't receive anything. Take you L and Do some soul searching

Looking forward to the Q2 earnings call Tuesday 7/27. That will be the sign of how incapable, worthless and mediocre the FISERV employee base is. Recruiters know that your community college skills are sub-par at best. Look at it like this, you can reuse all that stupid orange clothing that each of you spent a lot of money on to: ...work on a landscaping crew, pick up trash in the median in GA, WI and NE or ....you be a traffic flagger for an asphalt road crew (I bet the benefits are much better). Fiscum Proud !

It is worth it. Hard work is good for the soul. Hang in there we are turning the ship and making great strides. Your job will be made easier as all vaccinated return to the office on SEPT 7.

First Data uses antiquated working practices such as micromanagement and blame culture tactics to motivate. They do not use incentives, the bonus' are non existant, payrise? Forget it.

Fiserv must get with the times or lose talent. Respect your workers as humans rather than human capital. Stress IS a part of work but it does not compare to the mental health ravaging methods seen in this firm.

Find me a job that does not carry stress??? What planet are you on!!! Any good job, whether First Data or Fiserv, carries that load, sometimes in enormous quantity or quick bursts of panic and fear. If you want money, stress goes hand in hand with that and you'd better damn well get used to it. Grow up.
