There is NO rhyme or reason for the layoffs. The CEO received a $52 million dollar bonus YET he has the audacity to let workers go. OGS and USA teams will be laid off in the upcoming months of 2021. He didn't have a good track record with Glasko Smith-Kline. Go check out the lawsuits.
Actually it's a blessing to get out from under the discrimination at this company. What a he-l ho-e! Toxic place!

I’ve been with company 23 years. When the company was smaller management was good. Managers understood claims and systems. Now you don’t need to know anything. I hear people daily express concerns on issues and the manger is d-mbfounded, has no response . I wish we could go back to the day’s they hired management based on skill , not who you know.
All it takes is one former employee to go all "Erin Brockovich" on them to expose this toxic company. What a waste!
So true about writing a TV Series. My thoughts were a novel. It was unbelievable what I witnessed. And this is from the audit and compliance departments. I’m really surprised the RX business remains intact. So much corruption. Stems from lack of morals and ethics which I assume is encouraged and rewarded when an employee executes this properly and succeeds. Too much dishonesty. So glad I’m no longer there. Was not a good fit for me.
I've worked at both UHC and Optum for over 15 years and I have NEVER gone a day without drama. I will definitely write a TV series based on the BS that goes on. This place is a toxic sh-t show. Management is hired by their buddies and have NO leadership ability, NO ethics and NO morals. The insurance holder is screwed over and they have to practically threaten to file a Lawsuit before they come clean. If the government really audited this company it would be closed! Vial and toxic! A layoff is true a blessing!
