Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

I’m not even sure if they can stop the mass exodus

How many people are thinking about leaving? If I were in the leadership position of this company, I would be very worried. Everyone I know is applying for a new job and seriously intends to leave this circus here.
However, it seems to me that those at the top don’t even think about it. Admittedly, I don't even know if they would be able to keep talented people from leaving because this company doesn't seem to have much to offer anymore.

Loving that post about ‘new logos r us’. I'm glad to say that I only have one week left working for this utter sh1tshow. Shame I wasn't able to wangle redundancy. The two biggest problems are Soviet levels of bureaucracy and criminally poor leadership at all levels. Leave while you still can.

Most of those who remain at DXC will stay there even if no raises this year. Some are too close to retirement to leave, others are happy getting paid for kissing a$$ and doing 3-4 hours of work per day. Those with drive and ambition have already left, and are probably getting paid a lot more.

When a company cuts from their die-hard faithful empoyees, 2 things happen

  • - Every former employee becomes a die hard enemy of DXC
  • - Every replacement hired by DXC, is a cheap unskilled worker who soon ends up trashing their placement when they eventually resign for another job.

Did your transformation run out of money before it began? Are your processes broken, your business model looked like a collapsed building made out of Lego, automation non-existent, sales a mess, communication of your business model still require smoke signals and you always seem to have the weakest skills in the territories of the highest risk? Then you need ‘new logos r us’

With a bright, new, colourful logo we can break down these barriers and reach out to your new markets, existing clients, shareholders and workforce and communicate your brand value in a matter of weeks. Try our 30 day money back guarantee.

Based on the information you have told us, we believe DXC logo should be an immovable summit peak covered in snow with the tag Line ‘When it comes to change, we’re $hit hot!’

If that sounds too controversial for your brand values, then we can simply remove the ‘hot’

There is still the perception by the masses that the company desires them to leave.

The continuous stalling on pay is probably central to that and the "we care about employees" propaganda is just seen as propaganda now and every time its rolled out now it doesn't help, it just serves to inflame people.

And its becoming a domino effect as more people walk the day to day lives of everyone are impacted and the sentiment builds.

One in five dxc employees quit year to November 2020. This year's report will be interesting, i suspect its going to be at least as high if not higher.

The message from the top is that you are either with dxc or you should go. That's a great powerful message but on the other hand you look like a fool when you say that and discover you are standing on your own....

I'm no mercenary by a long way but I'm fed up with the pay situation. Its not out of absolute need for money but it is out of a sense of injustice when the top has been and still is filling its pockets while everyone else gets nothing.
