Give me that sweet severance money and I'll be gone without ever looking back.

Maybe I'm a frycook cook like my good ol' daddy, like father like son. Hope not, sure don't wanna smell like horse grease all day
Now that I left XOM, I wonder who I am anyway? What do I do as job?
Maybe I make my way through this sorry old world as clown
Praying for it!!!! Common common
I knew a few people who asked to be part of the involuntary program last year. At the time that seemed a little crazy, but now I see how smart they were. Brilliant, in fact. They saw this coming and bailed when they could get paid to do it. So many wish they had done the same.
Cant wait
Not legally required so won’t happen.
Your prayers will be answered soon my child. Signed HR
No chance of extra payment. Attrition is at all time highs.
If you wait for a measly package the company controls your future. Considering the high attrition and improved oil prices more layoffs are unlikely anytime soon.
Alternatively, you could hunt for a job you like right now while getting paid.
No PIL this year. Workforce reduction appeared to be desired last year, but with ongoing attrition this year, you’ll get nothing.
Damn right. I want the 10-10-10 package. We all deserve it comrades.
I wouldn't call it a "sweet severance"! But I've been there over 30 years, and I've seen what they've given in the past. THAT was a sweet severance!!
I had a friend last year ask for PIL and it was granted
If I were to be offered PIL, will gladly accept it
I doubt there will be a layoff. However, those who are considering retiring, be sure to ask your Manager BEFORE submitting your letter of intent if a package is going to be offered or being discussed. There was a successful lawsuit in which an employee was told that there would not be a package offered and then there was. Good luck to you all.
There will be layoffs, poorly disguised as PIP’s
There will not be any severance. That’s for honorable companies, not a company run by DW.
You wouldn't be saying that last year, but things are starting to look brighter for 3Q'21.
Just remember the old song "Sun will come up tomorrow" and Never Never Never Give Up.
Amen
me too!
And I'll be happy about it!
