No one wants to work anymore. This entire country has become one big welfare office. Everyone expects (or demands, really) that they get everything "free" which means that decent people like me who pay their bills every month, paid their student loans off in full, paid their home off in full, and pay their owed taxes will keep on paying for the "free" loaders in society who think that they are entitled to whatever they want, when they want. The pandemic has done more financial damage than anything else, and it's not just due to medical issues, it's also because of this senseless spending. So, yes, whining about wanting to be laid off makes me sick to my stomach.
You can tell when things are bad when, for most people, their greatest fear is being laid off... and their second greatest fear is NOT being laid off.
I'm just so tired of this place...
